Privacy policy

Novedo AB is committed to protecting your personal data, and we only process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and other applicable legislation for the protection of your personal privacy. ‘Personal data’ means any information that can be used, directly or indirectly, to identify a natural person.

Novedo processes the personal data that we receive in connection with the acquisition and management of companies. The personal data that may therefore be relevant include name, social security number, title, contact details, billing details and other business-related information that we receive from our partners. The information that is provided may also be supplemented with data that we obtain from other sources, such as your company’s public website, public databases or purchased marketing databases, for example. There is no obligation for you to provide us with your personal data, but without your personal data, we will not be able to fulfil our obligations to you since we will be unable to carry out the necessary checks, send newsletters, and so forth.

Novedo only processes personal data when there is a lawful basis for the processing, to protect your vital interests or for accounting and invoicing purposes. The processing is necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interest in acquiring and managing companies.

Only those employees at Novedo who require access to the personal data for the purposes described above have access to the data. And the data is not disclosed to third parties unless you have given your consent, unless it is necessary for performing a task, or unless it is necessary for processing by Novedo’s technical system.

The data subject’s personal data is generally saved for no longer than ten years after it was needed. The data is then irreversibly removed or anonymised.

Personal data that you provide us with voluntarily, such as when you communicate with us via e-mail, web forms or other channels, request that we send you newsletters or similar, or when you register for an event, are stored in accordance with the above purposes for as long as you have a business relationship with us. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters, information or invitations from us, you can inform us via e-mail, and your data will immediately be erased.

Novedo also uses cookies on our website to remember you, and to improve your web browsing experience. We may also collect information about your computer, such as your IP address and type of browser, for statistical analysis purposes. The data we collect is generic, which means that it cannot be used to link an individual visitor to the website to a natural person.

If you do not want to store cookies on your computer, you can change the settings for your web browser on your computer, and clear any cookies that have been stored on your browser’s web storage. Most web browsers accept cookies by default, but you can also turn off cookies or choose to see a consent popup before they are saved.

You have the right to request information from Novedo about how your personal data is being used. At your request or on our own initiative, we will rectify or delete any information that is inaccurate or restrict the processing of such data. You also have the right to object to Novedo’s processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, whereupon our processing will cease immediately.
