Novedo acquires BATAB Bygg- & Akustikteknik AB

The company Group Novedo has acquired BATAB Bygg- & Akustikteknik AB. BATAB AB is Novedo's sixteenth acquisition since the start in 2021, the fifth acquisition in 2022 and another step towards the IPO, which is planned for the first half of 2023. Following the acquisition, Novedo has pro forma net sales of approximately SEK 1.8 billion and an EBITDA of about SEK 250 million.

BATAB is a well-established and historically profitable company active within in suspended ceiling and acoustic solutions with a focus on renovations and customer adaptations of commercial properties, industry, offices, and public sector. For the past five years, the company has had a solid average annual growth rate with an EBITDA margin of approximately 20%. This year, net sales are expected to amount to SEK 130 million. The company, which was founded in 1975, is today led by Simon Carlson. The sellers are Carlson Invest Holding AB and Sareq Invest. In conjunction with the acquisition, Simon Carlson will become a shareholder in Novedo.
