Novedo acquires Timblads Måleri AB

Novedo has acquired Timblads Måleri AB.

Timblads is a company with a long history, founded in 1933.  For a long time, the company was owned by JM, but it has been privately owned since 2006. Today, the company has 125 active employees. Novedo took over on 1 September 2021, with the former owners of Timblads Måleri then becoming partners in Novedo.

“I am pleased that Timblads Måleri AB is now part of Novedo. The company is clearly specialised in the new production of housing and decorating services, and will continue to be led by Arne Svensson as CEO,” says Per-Johan Dahlgren, CEO of Novedo.

Timblads operates mainly in the Stockholm region. The company values method and structure, which is reflected in its ISO certifications for both quality and environment.

“Timblads is a serious and deliberately niched painting and decorating company. The industry is under change and our assessment is that it is wise to be part of a larger context. The fact that Timblads is now part of Novedo is largely because it offers continued freedom to operate the company in the same way as previously,” says Arne Svensson, CEO of Timblads.

Arne Svensson will continue to operate the company with the other partners Bengt Kindlund, Magnus Åkerblom and Fredrik Johansson.
