Novedo acquires Hansson & Ekman Isolering

Hansson & Ekman Isolering is an Uppsala-based company specialised in technical insulation, calibration, jointing, labelling, and operation and maintenance instructions in water and wastewater and industry.

The company was formed in 1992 and currently has 70 employees and sales of SEK 90 million. Novedo took over on 14 September 2021, with the former owners of Hansson & Ekman Isolering then becoming partners in Novedo.

“I am pleased that Hansson & Ekman Isolering is now part of Novedo. The company has cultivated a specialisation that is in demand and Jan Larsson, who has worked in the company since 2013, will continue to operate the company as CEO, together with founder Peter Hansson,” says Per-Johan Dahlgren, CEO of Novedo.

The company foresees a stable demand trend that largely follows the development in the construction industry in general. 

“We decided to find a new owner as part of our ambition to continue to grow and develop the company. The choice fell to Novedo because they let us manage ourselves and continue to operate the company as we see fit,” says Jan Larsson, CEO of Hansson & Ekman.
